U.S. Congressional Delegation Led by House Democracy Partnership Commission Chairman David Price Visits Armenia

David Price, Member of the U.S. House of Representatives

The U.S. Embassy in Armenia welcomes to Yerevan a U.S. House Democracy Partnership (HDP) Congressional Delegation led by Chairman David Price.

During their visit on October 17-18, the delegation will take part in a wreath laying ceremony at the Armenian Genocide Memorial, followed by meetings with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan to discuss U.S.-Armenian relations.  Additionally, the delegation will engage with members of parliament from across Armenia’s political spectrum.

HDP is a bipartisan, twenty-member commission of the U.S. House of Representatives that works directly with parliaments around the world to support the development of effective, independent, and responsive legislative institutions.  HDP established a formal partnership with the National Assembly of Armenia in 2020.

Chairman Price is joined by Representatives of the U.S. House of Representatives Diana DeGette, Jim Cooper, and Andy Levin.
