A group of INL-sponsored Armenian investigators from the Investigative Committee (IC) and State Revenue Committee (SRC) attended the largest annual law enforcement gathering in the world – the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Conference – in Orlando from October 6-9.  In addition to networking with U.S., Georgian, and Kosovar counterparts, the Armenian delegation held discussions with presenters on particular topics of interest, including Project Vic (a grass roots project to combat child exploitation), automobile crash site management and examination, modern technological solutions for crime scene examination and forensics, and identification and communications equipment.  The delegation separately visited the Orange County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) to observe state-of-the-art criminal data collection, records management and analysis, in addition to the OCSO communications center.  The annual conference brings together thousands of law enforcement officers from different agencies across the world to exchange best practices and build partnerships to fight crime.
