This week (May 4- 8) trainers from the International Training Section of the U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) are conducting a “Narcotics Investigators Course” for officers from Armenian Police, National Security Service and the Investigative Committee.  The training includes topics such as interview and interrogation techniques, informant handling, undercover operations, surveillance operations, technical equipment, wire-tap operations, tactical operations planning, and officer safety.  This training is funded by the U.S. Embassy International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) Affairs Office and is part of its assistance to the Justice Sector of Armenia.
