Message for U.S. Citizens: Travel Update

The Embassy is aware of an additional charter flight operated by Icelandair and organized by the interim Honorary Consul of Iceland in Armenia and Festa Tour Agency in August to take place August 1.

The flight is scheduled to depart Zvartnots airport in Yerevan August 1 at approximately 13:00, with a stopover in Belgrade, Serbia for U.S. Transportation Security Administration clearance. The flight is scheduled to arrive in Los Angeles at 20:00 local time.

Interested passengers should contact a local travel agency to book tickets. Passengers should be aware that no hot meals will be served on board. Passengers will be allowed one checked bag and one carry on and can pay $100 for one excess bag. Animals are not permitted.

As a reminder, Air France is also offering special charter flights from Yerevan to Paris on July 31 and August 8. The flights are scheduled to depart Yerevan at 5:50 am and arrive in Paris at 9:10 am local time. Interested passengers should contact Air France or a local travel agency.

Passengers wishing to travel on the Air France flights should have valid, confirmed onward travel plans to transit France and submit their travel documents no later than 48 hours in advance. All passengers are required to wear a surgical mask throughout the trip, including at the airport and on board Air France flights.

Passengers should check all COVID-19 entry regulations for their onward destination country, as they will not be allowed to board the Air France flight if they do not have permission to enter their destination country.
