The Interview

After you have completed the steps on the Immigrant Visa Process on travel.state.gov, including paying the necessary fees and submitting the required immigrant visa application form (DS-260), Affidavit of Support, and supporting documents to the National Visa Center (NVC), your case is ready for an interview.  NVC will work with U.S. Embassy Yerevan to schedule an interview appointment for you.

You can learn more about the interview process on travel.state.gov and via this instructional video.

At interview, you must bring the original versions of all civil documents submitted to NVC, copies of those documents, two 5cm x 5cm photographs, and financial documents from the petitioner and other financial sponsors.  Please review Items You Must Bring to Your Visa InterviewYou must bring the documents on this list even if you already submitted a copy to NVC.

What happens if you forget to bring something on this list?  The consular officer will not be able to complete the processing of your visa. You will have to gather the missing items and provide them to the Embassy, and may have to return for additional interviews.  Failure to bring all items on the above list may delay issuance of the visa.
